ABOUT

Progress is an exhibition of eleven contemporary artists in the evocative surrounds of Grade II listed Crusader Works. The exhibition marks Rogue Artists’ Studio’s final year at Crusader Mill following the building’s recent purchase and forthcoming development by Capital & Centric. Installation, film, painting and performance by selected members of Rogue Artists’ Studios consider the building’s transitional state and the industrial heritage of the surrounding landscape.

The exhibition coincides with Manchester Histories Festival and will invite Manchester residents to view the works in the context of Crusader Mill, offering an increasingly rare opportunity to visit one of Manchester’s undeveloped mills.

Exhibiting artists: Nicola Dale, Tracey Eastham, Taneesha Ahmed, Sam Meech, Evangelia Spiliopoulou, Hilary Jack, Lucy Harvey, David Gledhill, Mary Stark, Annie Carpenter, Jan Chlebik.

Curated by Lucy Harvey.
